Exciting News!

No..we are not having another baby...yet. We are moving! Just a few miles away, nothing too drastic.
A little while after we moved into this house, I realized that this school district was not where I wanted our kids to go. I tutored in this district for a while, and Teeny taught for a couple years in this district. It is just not an "ideal" school district. After that, I told Jeff that when we had kids, I would like for them to go to school in a better district. One day out of the blue, we started looking at houses.  Then, we realized that Jeff's mom and stepdad's lease was going to be up soon. He brought up the idea to them of renting our house. They need more room (the grandkids keep coming.) They decided that they would, so we started seriously looking. We found a neighborhood that we really liked. It's five minutes from Jeff's work, and the school district is so much better. We took a look at a few houses in the area. We looked at two that are in the process of being built and three that someone is living in. There was one that we knocked out immediately. We put in an offer on the one that we really liked. The owners did not like the offer too much, so we went back to the drawing board. We decided to take a second look at one of the ones being built. We decided that it was our house. We put in an offer, they countered and we accepted! The house has four bedrooms, three baths, a study, granite countertops, a fireplace and a HUGE master closet! It's very exciting. We won't close until July, so we have a little time to get everything cleaned out and everything.
We are beyond excited to start this new chapter of our lives! Enjoy the pictures...keep in mind that it is still in the beginning stages.

Happy Birthday Gammy!

Gammy's birthday is tomorrow, but we celebrated it this Sunday. We went to Saltgrass for lunch. Along with Gammy and Paw-paw Mike were Teeny, Jarod, Reese, Amanda, Devin and Gabby. We had a wonderful lunch, and I think Gammy really enjoyed it. She racked up on some clothes and frames. Harrison gave her a framed picture of his "eye to eye talk" with Sammy. The food and cake were delicious. The cake tasted even better after the debacle that Teeny had to go through to get it. Apparently, instead of Gammy, it was Danny on the cake.

Visit from Nanny and Papa

Jeff's grandparents flew in Friday for a quick little visit. The last time we saw them was Reese's birthday last year. As you may remember, I was VERY pregnant, therefore, they had never met Harrison.
Jeff switched his day off (along with Jarod and Mr. Terry,) so he could spend the day with his grandparents. Telena dropped Reese off with us that morning so she could hang out with everybody.
*Just a little side note. I had SO much fun with Reese Friday.  We literally danced in the living room for a whole hour. Juju was exhausted, but Reese was still going. She figured out how to play music on the iPad, so she was the deejay for the day.  She helped out with Harrison, too. While he took his morning nap, she helped me get ready. I showed her how I did my hair when I go work out, and she wanted her hair like that and wore it like that for the rest of the day. :) P.S. when we first started dancing, my dance moves were not up to her standards. I had to quickly step up my game!
Back to the visit. We went and ate lunch Friday with everyone Friday. Nanny took Jeff's ice cream, and Harrison ate some of mine! Later that evening, Mr. Terry and Amy cooked up a delicious dinner. We had steaks, potato casserole and salad.
Saturday, Harrison and I met everyone for lunch. Afterwards, we loaded up and headed up to the dealership. Telena, Reese, Harrison and I hung out at Hyundai. Nanny and Papa decided that they needed a new ride, so they went on a test drive. Teeny, the kids and I headed out to go do a little birthday shopping. We ran into everyone later. The kids had about enough excitement, so we called it an early night.
Sunday, we went over after lunch and took some pictures and said goodbye. Nanny and Papa flew out today. We had a great visit, and I am so glad they got to spend some time with sweet Harrison.

Ten Months!

Happy ten months to our wonderful baby boy!! In just two months, we will have a ONE YEAR OLD!!! I can't believe it.

Harrison:
-weighs 22 lbs and 4 oz.  We had to take him to the pediatrician last week. He has been pulling on his ears like crazy. I was scared that it may be an ear infection, even though he hasn't ran a fever. Turns out, it's just teething. Better safe than sorry, right?
-has 6 teeth!!! He has four on top and still just the two on bottom.  And, let's just say that he knows how those teeth work!
-is crawling EVERYWHERE!!!! I think Sam is about over Harrison being mobile. Harrison will seek him out, and Sam will run away from him. We have had to put up a baby gate at the stairs because he does seem to be a little "adventurous."
-is becoming more and more like his Daddy every single day. He has so many of Jeff's facial expressions, and from what I hear Jeff was a little mischievous when he was a kid. I can already see that in Harrison. He loves to get in the entertainment center, and obviously, he isn't supposed to.  When I tell him, "no" for something, he just looks at me and smiles. Jeff made over, right?
-is working on the sippy cup.  We are having a little trouble with it. I'm sure he will get it soon, though.
-still loves all food. I still haven't found anything that he doesn't like.  I have heard that most babies don't seem to like baby food after they have started table food. Not this guy!
-is still in 12 months...for the most part. It won't be long though. He seems to be growing like a little weed.

Harrison is such a happy baby. He makes me laugh constantly. His smile lights up any room. Harrison truly is the light of our lives. This boy is such a blessing, and I don't' think that I could every thank God enough for putting him in our lives. These past ten months have FLOWN by, but I can't wait to see what the future brings with this sweet baby boy!

"What? I wasn't doing anything."

I LOVE this picture!

Sweet boy.

Happy Easter!!!

This Easter was our best yet.  We got to celebrate it with our sweet baby boy! I was so excited about his Easter basket. I knew that since he is a little older, he would be able to play a little more than Christmas. P.S. I can't WAIT for him to have his birthday party! He was loving his Easter basket. We had to wait on Daddy to get up. We usually let him sleep in on his days off since he has so few.  Harrison and I went in there and showed Daddy his basket and then Harrison tore into it! He would pull one thing out, check over it, taste it, and then move on to the next thing. It was so darn cute!
Later that morning, we went to church. Harrison stayed in the nursery and he had a great time! Gammy and Paw-paw Mike met us at church.  Afterwards, we took off to Mimi and Papa's house.  They had cooked some super good food for lunch.  Harrison racked up on some Easter "happys" from Mimi, Papa, Aunt Katie, Uncle Michael and another basket from Aunt Teeny, Uncle Jarod and Reese.  Later, after some swimming, (by Michael, Reese and Jeff) we took off to Teeny's house to visit with them and Gammy and Paw-paw Mike.  Of course, Reese and Harrison acquired more happys.
I have to brag on my baby boy a little (more than I usually do.) He was in such a wonderful mood ALL day yesterday.  He had an hour nap before we left for church and that was all.  He was so content and happy. Of course, he fell asleep around 6:45 last night and slept until 7 this morning! I was so proud of the little fella for hanging in with everybody.
Now....enjoy the pictures!!!
