Happy Birthday Harrison!

Our sweet boy turned ONE yesterday!!! I can't believe we have made it through a whole year with Harrison. This year has flown by! Harrison is such a ball of personality.  He definitely takes after his Daddy, (he does have his Mama's dimples, though.)  He has grown so much, just over the past month.
Harrison:
-can say, "Mama, Dada, Nom-nom, buh-bye and pu-pee," (that's Sam)
-will try to scare you! It's so cute...he will do a little "growl."
-terrorizes Sammy. Poor Sam. Since Harrison can move faster, he can follow Sam a lot more. Sammy doesn't know how to handle it. Harrison likes to "love" on Sam.
-"loves." He will put his head down on whatever he is loving, and say, "aaweee." It's so sweet.
-loves his Daddy. We are usually up when Jeff leaves for work, and Harrison is always sad to see him go, but SUPER excited when he sees him.  I am pretty sure Jeff feels the same way.
-will "shake his booty." If he hears music, he automatically starts dancing. :)
-is down to his last little bit of formula. He had some regular milk today in his sippy cup today, and he LOVED it! I am so glad he is taking to it and the sippy cup.
-is starting to "read." He has certain books that he loves and will talk while he turns the pages in them.
-is no longer eating baby food. He eats "grown up" food most of the time.
-is starting to let go of the furniture. He did it a couple times today, and I think once he realized what he had done, he fell on his booty.
-is still in 18 months and size 4 diapers.

Again, I can't believe we have had Harrison for a whole year. We are so blessed to be this little boys parents. We waited so long for him, but he was so worth it. He can make anyone smile.  We get so many compliments on his big smile! He truly is the light of our lives. Harrison keeps us on our toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Last night, I cooked chicken and dumplings, and Jeff got off early. Aunt Teeny showed up with some balloons and cupcakes. Gammy also came over to see the birthday boy. He LOVED his cupcake! I can't wait for Sunday when he gets a whole cake to himself.

When he woke up!

His cupcake!

Once he got into it, it was over!

On a much sadder note, Teeny and Reese's dog, Harley, passed away yesterday. She was a huge part of their family and ours. Sam and Harley were best buds! We are going to miss her so much!!!

Happy Birthday Reese!

*Note: this post is going to have a TON of pictures. :)
Reese turned four, yes, FOUR, on June 2! I can't believe she has been in our lives for four whole years. She is such a funny, intelligent, kind and awesome little girl.  I honestly laugh the whole time I am with her. She comes up with some of the silliest questions and other things to say. I know that I am just an aunt by marriage, but I love that girl like she is my blood. Sometimes, she seems like she is. We both have a little bit of a "where did that bruise come from?" issue. :) I will say, that girl does take after her Uncle Jeff.
Anywho, last Saturday, she participated in a cheer clinic at a local high school. Harrison and I went to check it out. (Along with Gammy, Aunt Teeny, Aunt Alison, Haley and Chasidy) She was so cute, and she is a cheerleader/dancer in the making!

That's her on the right showing her stunting skills!
Later that night, we went and ate at her new favorite restuaruant, Saltgrass! Apparently, because Gammy had her birthday there, that's where she wanted hers.
Sunday was her party. It was at Pump It Up, a local jump place. I think Jeff had more fun than the kids did!! Harrison crawled around and chatted with everybody. He did go down the slide a couple times, but I don't think he liked it very much. We had an awesome time at the party! Reese seemed to take home a lot of birthday "loot."

Reese and her "boyfriend," Jax

Harrison and I had a hard time going down the slide. :(

"Alright Mom, that's enough pictures!"

Alison and Gammy racing to the top.

This picture of H cracks me up!!!

Silly girl!

Jax was showing us some of his dance moves!

The birthday girl!
