October

Yes, I know. I'm way behind on the blog. I just decided that I would include all of our October into one post.
First, sweet little Grayson turned a year old! Where the year went, I have no clue! I feel like just yesterday, we were waiting in the hospital for him. Of course, I feel that way about Reese, too and she is five!

SWEET BOY!!

Then, back in the summer, my sisters, Aunt Laura and I had started planning a 50th birthday surprise party for my mom. Yes, we started that early! We got everything together, sent invites, got her an AWESOME cake, and planned our trip home. She had no clue. She kept asking when we were going to come home again, and I just kept coming up with excuse after excuse. The woman is nothing if not persistent! We drove in on the Friday before the party to Katie's house. We stayed there, then headed down to my grandparents' on Saturday. Aunt Laura had everything pretty much set up. Mom showed up earlier than we had planned for her to, but she was very surprised! We got her good. There was a joke that she would be crying within a minute of getting there, and then we put it on Aunt Laura. We all knew she would cry too, but she vowed she wouldn't. After Jeff, the boys and I popped out of Harv and Bett's house, we look over, and Laura is crying like a baby! Got her too. :) Jeff flew back that Monday, but the boys and I stayed until the next Saturday. My high school's homecoming was Friday so I convinced Katie to go with me to that. We had such a great time at home that week. Harrison is OBSESSED with so many things out there….he had a ball!  We got to spend some time with Gigi and Pappy, and Harrison and Taryn got some quality cousin time in. 

Katie's first trimester was in full effect, so she took a little nap with Huddy.

The family reunion was that Sunday. These are the cousins, but we missed Melissa and Cody.

Sweet Huddy turned five months in October! He is rolling over everywhere, and getting ready to crawl! He's sleeping through the night and has gotten a lot better with napping! He is such a cuddle bug and I love it!

Finally, we had Halloween. We always go to Teeny's house and trick or treat around her neighborhood. We always have such a great time.

Four Months

Baby Hudson is FOUR months old! I can't believe it!! Time is still flying by with this sweet boy!

Hudson:
-weighs 14 lbs and 13 ounces
-is 24.75 inches long
-is wearing 6 months for the most part and is in size 2 diapers
-is drinking 6 ounces every 3-4 hours
-is rolling around everywhere!! I don't think it will be too long before this little guy is on the move! Yikes!
-is an extremely chatty boy! I thought he was going to be a quiet one, but I may have been wrong.
-still LOVES his big bro and Sammy!!
-doesn't really care for the rice cereal, but I'm still trying. We're going to try some veggies tonight, so we will see how that goes.
-loves having his head rubbed or his hair washed. It's the funniest thing to see his face!
-is still sleeping all night, but this morning he woke up at 5...
-is usually taking 2 really good naps during the day. However, they're usually in the swing, and we will be working on crib naps in the next week!

This is an all the time thing. H acting silly, and Huddy looking at him like he's nuts!

Three Months!

Our sweet Hudson is three months old!! Where has the time gone! This little boy is such a good baby. He's so quiet and content. We have loved having him in our lives these past three months. He's such a blessing!

Hudson:

-weighs around 12 lbs. I think the kid is getting longer by the minute though. He is growing so much.

-is in 3 months...mostly. I've had to move him to 6 month pjs because he is getting long...I know, right?! 

-is in size 2 diapers. 

-is laughing so much! I love it!

-is becoming very chatty. He will chit chat with his toys on his activity mat. So cute!

-loves his big brother. If he sees Harrison, he instantly smiles! Harrison calls him, "his baby." He can't be anybody else's. 

-is getting the hang of sleeping through the night. We have had a few nights of 12 hours!!! 

-is eating 5 oz every 3-4 hours. 

-is a ham in front of the camera, just like Bubba. :)

Two Months!!

Our sweet baby boy, Hudson, is two months old! These past two months have flown by! It has been such a joy to have him in our lives. He's such a good baby!
Hudson:
-is in size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes
-is getting a lot better about sleeping at night. Last night he slept for 8 hours!!
-weighs 11 lbs and 12 oz (30%) and is 22.5 inches (15%.) When he went to his one week appointment, he was only in the 5% for both, so our boy is growing a ton!!!
-is smiling all the time!! He's like his big brother with all the smiles!
-is finding his hands and feet. He's almost got his hands perfected, but he's working on the feet.
-loves his baths!!
-is very laid back. He will just hang out, and check out his surroundings.
-is taking 4 ounces every 3 hours or so. I'm thinking that we may have to move up in the very near future, though.
-loves his big brother. Every time that Harrison gets down to play with him, Hudson is all smiles and laughs! Warms a Mama's heart!

Happy Two Months!!!

At his checkup! He did so well! He never cried while he was getting his exam. He cried when they poked him with the needles, but stopped as soon as I got to pick him up! Such a trooper!
