3D Ultrasound!

We got to see Baby Hudson on a 3D ultrasound this past Wednesday. Big brother didn't cooperate on his, so we had to do two. Looks like Hudson is a little more cooperative. :) Gammy was able to make it and join us for the show. The consensus is that he looks like Harrison did. He already has some chunky cheeks!! We all can't wait to see him in person!!
Usually, Harrison wants to sit with Daddy during visits. This day, however, he had to sit on the table with me.  :)
Look at those lips!!

Cheeks, cheeks, cheeks!!!

My Aunt Laura said that he is thinking of how he is going to aggravate Harrison when he gets here. :)
We go back on March 6 for our monthly visit and glucose test. I can't believe I will be 28 weeks this week! Time is flying by. That being said, Mama needs to get on the ball with getting the room and everything ready!!

Visit from our Linam girls!!

A couple weeks ago, we were having a chat on FaceTime with Katie and Taryn, (H and T love talking to each other.) Katie asked, "Harrison, do you want to play with Taryn?" I was confused, but that's not saying much. H kinda looked at her, and she said, "well, you can next Wednesday!" I think I almost stepped on my lip! I was so excited!!! They drove in last Wednesday. Caleb had to work, so it was just a girls' trip. I know Jeff really did miss Caleb (and the Nerf gun war.) Wednesday night, Jeff grilled steaks for all three of us after the kids went to bed. Thursday, after morning naps and a trip to the grocery store, we stopped by the office to get Harrison's Valentine's Day gift from Gammy and Pawpaw, then it was off to the mall. Where else? We shopped until we dropped. Well, this girl dropped before anybody else due to the extra weight I'm carrying around these days. :) We got home pretty late that night, so it was dinner and off to bed for the kids. P.S. Harrison was exhausted every night! We never heard a peep out of him when we laid him down! Friday, we took the kids to the park and took some photos. I didn't really think the whole park thing out when I was planning some quick photos. The kids were way more interested in the playground and the ducks. Duh, Mom! They were too cute though! Taryn loved the slide, and Harrison loved the swing! After the park, Katie wanted to stop by the dealership to test drive a car or two. She had been talking about getting a new car, but nothing really set in stone yet. We dropped her off with David, and the kids and I took off to Jeff's office. Papa helped a girl out and took Harrison to "drive" one of the cars on the floor. That's his favorite thing to do at the dealership. Needless to say, he is like his parents. Katie got back and was talking about getting a new vehicle. We tabled it for a few minutes and went home to get some food in the kids (and the pregnant lady!) Finally, she decided to get a car. We always appreciate family and friends supporting us with a purchase from Wiesner!! That girl was beyond excited!!! I was so happy for her....she got her remote and cruise control. :) While she was doing that, I had both kids. Let's just say that God knew what he was doing when he didn't give me twins. They were so good; it's just a ton of work to get two toddlers ready for bed! They had to leave on Saturday so that Katie could get ready for a class in Montgomery the first part of this week. Harrison cried when they left, and I have to admit, that I did as well. We watched Mickey Mouse with tears in our eyes. We had so much fun with those two, and we miss them SO much already.
Taryn loving on Sam. She would just walk up to him and kiss him on the nose.

Happy Valentine's Day!!! My gift from Jeff. The kids, Katie and I all enjoyed it!

Doing a little shopping.

Kinda how posed pictures went....

Picture Update!!

I just wanted to share some photos taken the past few weeks! Our boy is such a ham!!!
H loves everything his Daddy does, hence, the wrestling.

Clockwise: H wearing Daddy's hat. Sitting in Big Easy while Daddy wasn't home. Trying on some new duds while shopping. And trying out his business attire.

We have been going to the park when it's nice outside. This kid LOVES it!!!! I have to drag him away when we are ready to go!!

25 Weeks

Holy cow! 25 weeks down! I CAN'T believe it!! We had our monthly checkup this past Wednesday, and everything looked great. Our little boy's heart rate was 155. He has had a heart rate almost exactly like his big brother's. This past week, the Luker household has been very sick. We have all had a nasty cold. I called the nurse the other day because it had gotten really bad. She said it sounded like an upper respiratory infection so she called me in some antibiotics to help. We got that taken care of. Thank goodness. (Harrison was on antibiotics as well. His manifested into an ear infection.) Dr. G said that everything looked good on that front. In two weeks, we will have the 3D ultrasound. Hopefully, baby boy will cooperate on the first try, unlike his big brother. Then, our March visit will be my glucose test. Yuck! I have been so sick with this one, it makes me very nervous having to drink that stuff. :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

I know, I know. I'm terrible at keeping up with the blog.

Jeff's 29th (gasp!) birthday was last Sunday. His birthday usually falls around the Super Bowl, but this year it was ON the Super Bowl. We decided to go out for lunch after church with the family. Jeff picked Saltgrass, a local steakhouse. Then, Jeff wanted to have people over to watch the game later that night.  Jeff's grandparents came in town for the weekend, so they were able to join us for the birthday festivities.
Harrison and I got up that morning and made the birthday boy some homemade waffles for his breakfast. After breakfast, we gave him his gift from us.
An autographed football by Joe Namath. Jeff is very hard to buy for, so coming up with something to get him racks my brain. Luckily, Bama memorabilia tends to do the trick. :)

I am so thankful that this man is in my life. He is the most wonderful husband and dad to Harrison. My boys and I are the luckiest people. I have no idea what we would do without him. He is my best friend, and I grow to love him more and more each day. Happy Birthday Honey!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
